State of the City Mayor Jackson will give his fifth State of the City address today. He'll cover many of the topics that have been staples of his time in office, including fiscal responsibility and regionalism. The speech is expected to begin shortly after 12:20 PM

Car Wrecks Funeral Procession The Lorain Morning Journal is reporting that the driver of a Chevrolet Aveo didn't notice the procession at West 21st Street and Broadway when she pulled out into the intersection on a green light. She sideswiped a Chevy Trailblazer, but there were no injuries.

Bernsen to help Soap Box Derby Actor Corbin Bernsen, best known for his role on Psych and as Roger Dorn in the Major League movies, says he plans to shoot a movie about the Soap Box Derby. Bernsen says he has received $500,00 in funding so far, enough to make the film which will benefit the Soap Box Derby.
