Ohio Supreme Court to look at gun bans The case revolves around a law passed over then-Governor Taft's veto in 2006 that lifted local gun bans across the state, including one in Cleveland that banned assault weapons. Cleveland has challenged the state law, saying that it infringes upon their constitutional right to home rule.

Liquidation company buys Twinsburg Chrysler plant Maynards Industries Ltd. bought the plant for $45.5, well over the $32 million that the facility was appraised at. Maynards has bought several automobile plants and auctioned off the equipment inside. Community leaders had hoped that another manufacturing company would buy the building.

RTA to start e-alerts The Plain Dealer reports that the alerts will be used to let riders know when a train or bus has been delayed. The agency already has a twitter account, and is considering starting a blog and joining Facebook.
