Death row inmate overdosed to avoid execution according to state records. Lawrence Reynolds Jr., who was executed on March 16, apparently tried to deny the state the chance to execute him by overdosing on prescription antidepressants that he had stockpiled.
Lightning ruled the cause of church fire Fire officials confirmed their findings using surveillance video from a building across the street from the Euclid Avenue Congregational Church, which went up in flames Tuesday morning. The church bell and some other artifacts were saved, but the building was completely destroyed.
Spring Concert! Come meet your favorite WBWC personalities and catch performances by Red Beard, Two Hand Fools, The Sidekicks, and American War at the WBWC Spring Concert. It starts tonight at the Baldwin-Wallace Student Activities Center at 96 Beech St. in Berea. Admission is $5 and all proceeds benefit the Red Cross of Greater Cleveland.
