Saffold sues PD Judge Shirley Strickland Saffold has sued The Plain Dealer for $50 million in damages. The newspaper reported last month that anonymous comments about the Anthony Sowell case, which Saffold is presiding over, were traced back to Saffold's e-mail account.

Trench collapse kills 1 in Hudson 56 year old James Wetzl died yesterday when the 15-foot-deep sewer line trench he was working in caved in. Another worker, Albert Bagnoli, was pulled from the trench alive about six hours after the collapse

Tribe home opener is a sellout The Indians announced that all 43,515 seats for Monday's opening day game against the Rangers have been sold. The sellout marks the 17th year in a row that the Indians home opener will be a sellout.
