Gas prices have gone up again. The average price for a gallon of regular unleaded in Ohio is now $2.83 a gallon, up two cents from last week. The average price was only $2.00 last year.
Durr moved to the death house Darryl Durr is scheduled to be executed tomorrow for the kidnapping and murder of Angel Vincent of Elyria in 1988. Prison officials said he was moved to the death house at the Southern Ohio Correctional Facility in Lucasville this morning. Durr is still waiting for a federal appeals court to decide several last-minute appeals.
Bad winter for bees Ohio agriculture officials estimate that a tough winter knocked out as much as 70 percent of the hives kept by the state's beekeepers. The state noted that honeybees play a role in about $44 million worth of berries, vegetables, and other crops in Ohio each year.
