Keep checking this page throughout the night for the latest election updates:
11:15 PM: School levies split right down the middle tonight. Most that failed were additional levies, whereas most of the renewals passed. Seems to speak to the state of our economy...
10:38 PM: CORRECTION: Yost over Husted in the Auditor race
10:18 PM: AP has called several races. Fisher, Husted, Yost all projected to win their races.
9:46 PM: No big updates, returns are starting to slow down a bit. Countywide levies in Lorain and Cuyahoga Counties are passing, Medina County DD levy barely failing.
9:13 PM: Races starting to be called. Sutton projected to win OH-13 (D). Kaptur projected to win OH-9 (D).
8:48 PM: First school levy results are in. Mostly absentee voting so far. Lakewood, North Royalton, Parma (Issue 9), Rocky River, Westlake, Firelands, and North Ridgeville all passing. North Olmsted, Parma (Issue 10), Avon, Columbia, Elyria, Lorain, and Midview all failing.
8:41 PM: Yost leads Morgan in the GOP auditor's race 66-34. Fisher leads Brunner in the Democratic US Senate race 56-44. Husted leads O'Brien for the GOP Secretary of State nod 74-26. Could be a long night for Tea Partiers...
8:23 PM: Very surprising that we don't have more results yet. Issue 1 passing 68-32, Issue 2 passing 79-21. Sutton and Ganley still have big leads in the race for the OH-13 nominations.
8:06 PM: First results in OH-13 are in. Betty Sutton (D) and Tom Ganley (R) both have comfortable leads.
8:01 PM: First results are in. Issues 1 and 2 both passing comfortably with 1% of precincts reporting. Usually not a very good indicator of things to come though. Still waiting for local results.
7:31 PM: Polls are closed! Results should be coming in shortly...
7:19 PM: 11 minutes until the close of the polls. No major problems reported today at the polling places. A few machines froze in Cuyahoga County and a polling place lost power, but both problems were taken care of quickly.
