A New York woman is suing her former boss, claiming that she was fired for being “too hot”. Fox 8- 29-year-old Lauren Odes said at a press conference on Monday that she was hired last month to work at a lingerie company. Odes says the Orthodox-Jewish owners complained about how she dressed. While the lingerie company did not have a dress code, Odes claims that other workers dressed casually. Odes claims that she was forced to wear a bathrobe one day while at work. Odes added that she was fired when she left the facility to something more conservative to wear at work.
The World’s tallest LEGO tower was erected in Seoul, South Korea about a week ago. Fox 8- More than 4,000 children, who had won a contest to join in the fun, used over 500,000 bricks in its construction. The end result – a tower that measured a dizzying 31.9 meters (almost 105 feet) tall. The previous record of 31.6m (a little over 103.5 feet) was set by France in October 2011. Danish Crown Prince Frederik laid the final record-breaking brick. The event was a part of a celebration marking LEGO’s 80th birthday.
