Here's a look at some of the stories we're covering today:
9 children removed from Cleveland home Police removed the children after they say an 8 year old boy was found hogtied with duct tape and tied to a coffee table as his mother slept. A call was placed to authorities as a 15 year old boy who said his mother makes his sister tie his brother up every night. The mother and another man were both taken into custody, but no charges were immediately filed.
LeBron to be named MVP multiple sources are reporting that LeBron James will be named the NBA's most valuable player on Sunday. He is slated to accept the award on Monday night at game 1 of the Eastern Conference semifinals against the Boston Celtics.

Here's a look at some of the stories we're covering today
Medina Co. car crash kills high school student 16 year old Erin Ehrbar and her brother, 13 year old Andrew Ehrbar, were pulling out of her driveway yesterday morning when her car was struck by a Ford Mustang driven by 17 year old Jonathan Slifka. Erin was killed in the crash and Andrew was taken by LifeFlight to MetroHealth with serious injuries. Slifka was taken to Medina Hospital with facial lacerations. All three were students in the Highland school district.
Strickland leads Kasich in race for governor The Quinnipiac University poll released yesterday shows Governor Ted Strickland ahead of Republican challenger John Kasich by a 44 percent to 38 percent count.
Goodyear posts 1Q loss The Akron-based tire maker says revenue is up 21 percent, but factors including a devaluation of Venezuelan currency caused a first quarter loss of $47 million.

Fisher holds commanding lead in Senate race Lieutenant Governor Lee Fisher holds a 41 percent to 24 percent lead over Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner in the race for the Democratic nomination for U.S. Senate, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released today. Pollsters noted that Fisher is way ahead of Brunner in advertising and that 34 percent of voters remain undecided and 51 percent of those who named a candidate said that they might change before Tuesday's election.
No shirt, no shoes, no Statehouse Bob Neinast of Pickerington found that out the hard way when he was stopped by an officer who told him that shoes are required inside the Statehouse. However, a spokesman said there is no set rule requiring shoes, so the Statehouse board is now trying to make one. Neinast said that he never wears shoes and that it is a healthy lifestyle.
Health Deparment infested with fleas The Fairfield County Health Department's offices will be closed through the weekend so that they can be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. Health Commissioner Frank Hirsch does not believe that the fleas have posed a health risk, but they can transmit disease.

Durr to be executed today The execution is on schedule to take place at 10 AM today after the Supreme Court denied his appeal yesterday. The Plain Dealer has reported that Durr has refused food and drink in observance of a religious fast. He was convicted of raping and strangling a 16 year old girl in Elyria in 1988.
3C rail project clears first hurdle A Democrat-controlled state panel voted 4-3 along party lines to approve spending $25 million in stimulus money to complete engineering and design work on the project. The passenger rail line will connect Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, and Cincinnati.
British students stuck in Ohio The Icelandic volcano explosion has left a college theater troupe from Great Britain stuck at Hocking College, where they were participating in an exchange program. The group's producer said that their American hosts have been "fantastic."

Here's a look at some of the stories we're covering today:
Gas prices have gone up again. The average price for a gallon of regular unleaded in Ohio is now $2.83 a gallon, up two cents from last week. The average price was only $2.00 last year.
Durr moved to the death house Darryl Durr is scheduled to be executed tomorrow for the kidnapping and murder of Angel Vincent of Elyria in 1988. Prison officials said he was moved to the death house at the Southern Ohio Correctional Facility in Lucasville this morning. Durr is still waiting for a federal appeals court to decide several last-minute appeals.
Bad winter for bees Ohio agriculture officials estimate that a tough winter knocked out as much as 70 percent of the hives kept by the state's beekeepers. The state noted that honeybees play a role in about $44 million worth of berries, vegetables, and other crops in Ohio each year.
